YSL Les Sahariennes Balm Powder ($63 CAD)
Dear YSL: I know you’ve taken this off of the Sephora site, and the lightest colour has been sold out on your site for some time now so please PLEASE do not discontinue this product! This is my number one all time favourite bronzer. The texture is a cream that picks up beautifully on a brush (I swirl my Real Techniques Blush Brush into this) and dust the product over my face for the most beautiful and elegant bronze I have ever had. Despite being a cream and even slightly putty texture, it picks up beautifully applies blotch free (depending on the brush you use, I highly recommend the RT one) and brings life back into my skin in the most beautiful way.
Bobbi Brown Bronzer ($54 CAD)
There is nothing basic about this is a simple light warm bronzer from Bobbi Brown. The formula has the perfect amount of pigmentation to it (not overly done or stiff and dry) and leaves a soft matte definition to your skin. Bobbi Brown finds the perfect colours that mimics what a true bronzed complexion should look like making her makeup natural and not over-done.
Honorable Mention: Tom Ford Translucent Finish Powder ($78 CAD) in Sahara Dusk
Although the name of this product is translucent, there really isn’t anything translucent about this. I found this at a CCO for a fraction of the price and decided to pick it up as a bronzer since it has subtle red undertones to it. The powder does blend out immaculately (with whatever brush i use) , has the right amount of pigmentation and lasts all day but I do love my YSL and Bobbi Brown bronzers a bit more. Thought I would include this anyways since I have been reaching for it quite a lot this year!
