Anastasia Liquid Glow Highlighter ($33 CAD) in Perla
This product delivers a glow (with no visible glitter or shimmer on the face) in the most natural way possible. Although the intensity can be built up for those who prefer to glow from Mars, I prefer going in with a light hand to add a targeted radiance. The colour of Perla is a soft champaign colour that works well enough with my skin tone to blend in so that the effect vs. the colour of the highlighter remains on my face.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Light Wand ($50 CAD)
Although I’m not a fan of the applicator, the product is remarkable. The colour of this highlighter is unlike any other I own but what I wish they all were: it’s a light champaign gold that doesn’t lean too gold. On the skin, this gives me an etherial glow, with subtle shimmer (nothing chunky or glittery) that reflects light in the most etherial way. I really love this product
Marc Jacobs Dew Drops ($55 CAD)
The Dew drops are very versatile in that they can be mixed in with foundation or used as a traditional cream highlighter for a beautiful glow. The shimmer in this product is a little bit more than in the charlotte wand but it melts into the skin so effortlessly that it becomes untraceable. I love applying this to the back of my hand and then going in with a beautyblender to target highlight certain areas on my face. I learnt this technique watching Desi Perkins highlight / glow video and have been hooked ever since.
