KIKO Milano High Pigment Wet and Dry Eyeshadow

KIKO Milano High Pigment Wet and Dry Eyeshadow

KIKO Milano make some of my favorite makeup products. At an affordable price point, the brand produces some incredibly high quality products. The single eye shadows were something that I initially did not like (I found it lacked pigment and was packed into the pan too hard). I’m happy that I revisited the single eye shadows (due to a packaging change, I thought to give it a second chance)  and I purchased a variety of shades and one unique texture.

The matte shadows are extremely creamy, pigmented and blend out wonderfully. The shimmer shade is a bit stiffer than I would like (I imagine to minimize the fall out) so you really have to go in several times or spray your brush to build up the intensity to a medium level (I don’t think this can become very intense).  The final texture I bought is a baked shadow that is split across two shades (a light shimmery dirty gold and a matte charcoal brown). The pigment on the gold shade was nice, soft and pigmented however the matte charcoal brown on the other hand barely had any pigment, was very dry and skipped on the skin. This seemed out of the norm for the new KIKO eyeshadows so maybe I got a bad batch but had I known the texture would be like this I wouldn’t have bought it.
