Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm ($82 CAD) is a luxurious cream that adds a glow to the skin or adds radiance to any foundation and comes in 3 shades a pink, gold and clear version, which I bought in: Bare Glow.
I first saw this being used in a Glowy YouTube tutorial from Roxette Arisa where she mixed this in with MAC Studio Fix for a light glow, which made her skin look absolutely gorgeous. If this were any other brand I would skip right past it in fear that the product would be too heavy or contain sparkle and shimmer. However, coming from Bobbi Brown, who is notorious for healthy and natural looking skin, I took a leap of faith in this product. It can be used mixed into your foundation, used as a primer, patted on top of your foundation for a pick me up or even rock it on bare skin for a no makeup day.
Bare glow pumps out as an opaque white moisturizer but then when blended out the consistency becomes quite thin and transparent, leaving behind a beautiful glow.
I think this is crazy expensive so will need to wear it for a few months to really get my verdict on if I think it’s worth it. I do have some foundations (such as the MAC Studio Finish foundation) that can be too cakey if overdone but a product like this would easily help me finish that foundation and many more alike.
The claims of this product is that it will also improve the skins moisturization and improve the skins radiance. For the price, this definitely should but I’m thinking you’d need to have prolonged usage of the product to be able to tell.
All in all, for any dry or normal skin beauties who want a glowy boost in your foundations this could be a worth while splurge.
