Butter London Glazen Eye Gloss in Moonshine and Spark are $24 CAD each.
Each eye gloss is housed in a glass jar with a plastic twist off top:
The Glazen Eye gloss formula has quite a unique jelly-based consistency. Despite the texture, each glazen eye gloss is easy to pick up on a brush or with my finger but oddly enough the colour does not translate well to my lid. The product sheers out, leaving behind sparkle without the colour.
In order to get your desired intensity, you need to build up a few layers of this product. Once it dries, the eye glazes lasts all day with a highly reflective, metallic finish.
Spark is a medium antique gold with golden reflective sparkles to it
Moondshine is a cool tone taupe with micro silver sparkles in it
When built up, each glazen eye gloss appears just like it swatches below. In a way, I dont mind that these require a build up because it allows you to control the level of intensity. I can take these eye glosses from work eye to a night out eye.
Overall, the Butter London eye glazes are nice products and a fun texture to play with. For nights out or a time you want to make a statement with your makeup, these are reliable products to reach for! However, since the application requires some buildup, it’s the fastest thing to apply and go. I’m happy with the shades I have but I wont be purchasing more.
