By Terry Sun Designer Palette 2: Light & Tan Vibes

These are one of those products that I hate to love because it’s SO expensive ($82 USD) and from a cost to value ratio definitely not worth it, since I use the lighter half of this palette. BUT! that half is just SO SO good to me and beautylish say’s it’s limited edition so I actually bought a backup #shopoholicproblems

Although powdery, the shades deposit a diffused colour onto the skin that lasts all day and I really love the shades. The blush is my favorite because I feel like so many brands try to replicate the light mauvy pink colour but so few actually do. That was until, this palette came and ruined my wallet.

The highlighter is an off white with a semi-sheen finish. There is no blinding – see this highlight from mars – you’ll need sunglasses around this shade type of colour. It creates more of a subtle glow. The bronzer has some slight shimmer to it but it’s undetectable on the skin. The colour works well for my medium skin tone and gives me a true to bronze finish.

The three darker colours on the left are too intense for face products but I’ve used them as eyeshadows. They are all shimmery, and perhaps a home for those who like a stronger high light/ blush and bronzer glow.

Net – in good faith I cannot recommend this palette because it costs so much and I really only bought it for the blush. The pans are pretty shallow and the product is quite powdery meaning you’ll likely run through this too fast.
