Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder ($58 CAD) is simply a pressed powder to reduce shine, add a hair bit of more coverage and to lock in your cream products to help your makeup lasts longer. Basically these claims are not unique to Charlotte Tilbury but what (depressingly) is unique about these powders is that they actually come through on their claims!
These powders not only set my makeup but they truly do make my skin look flawless (it softens, blurs and highlights, depending on the shade you use, my skin all at the same time). While they also reduce shine, it doesn’t completely matte out the skin or leave me looking dry and cakey as some powders can (even on the driest parts of mys kin). This is thanks to the rose wax and almond oil formulated in the powders to maintain your skins level of hydration. Although I rarely touch up my makeup throughout the day, this is the powder I would bring with me for long days to give my skin a beautiful pick me up.
These powders add a very light layer of coverage (light at best) and I don’t notice my makeup wearing longer than with other powders overall but it does extend the wear and sets my under eye concealer nicely.
I use 1 Fair to set under my eyes, 2 Medium to set on the rest of my face and 3 Dark to bronze / warm up my skin. My only gripe with this line is the limited and light shade range. I’d love to see CT expand this range to come up with richer shades.
I think the biggest declaration of my love for this product is hitting pan and finishing it, despite the 289840 other powders I have in my collection. Needless to say, this is Beauty Swatched approved in my opinion and worth every penny!
