Clinique Cheek Pop: 05 Nude Pop

I’m a sucker for nothing blushes. You know, those blushes that look like nothing in the pan but apply so gorgeously on the skin giving you a slight glow. These types of blushers provide lift or dimension to your cheeks without overtly looking like blush.

I heard a lot of hype around the Clinique Cheek Pop blushers ($29 CAD) so thought I’d test them out, starting with of course the nude shade: Nude Pop. This blusher has a wonderful sheen to it on the skin and swatches and applies lighter on the cheeks than it appears in the pan. Depending on your skin can lean a bit peachy pink (despite looking like a rosy nude shade).

The packaging is to die for – I don’t know how they were able to get the flower imprint so deep into the product (so that it doesn’t wipe away like an overspray/ overlay) and so intricate. The case is a thick transparent plastic that so perfectly houses each flower blush. I love the way this looks, the packaging gets a A+++ from me!

The formula is nice, thin, soft and blendable. It’s really a beautiful blusher not the skin by adding a hint of sheen to pick up the cheeks and leaving behind a beautiful peachy nude glow on my skin. This is beauty swatched approved

This is a beautiful shade! Is it a powder blush or cream blush?

It’s a powder! Very soft and finely milled

I adore how the shade looks against your skin tone. 🙂 I own Melon Pop and most recently got Pansy Pop to add to my collection. Sadly, not all the shades are locally available to me (for some reason, they only sell about 8 shades and some sales assistant told me they were discontinuing Melon Pop…I hope that’s untrue!). I have used my Melon Pop blush enough that the flower has mostly gone haha I love using it, it just makes me have the healthiest glow!
