Huda Beauty The Overachiever High Coverage Concealer ($40 CAD) in Nougat and Sugar Biscuit
The Huda Beauty Overachiever High Coverage Concealer comes in a thin squeeze tube applicator with a slanted metal tip that product comes out of
The Huda Beauty Overachiever High Coverage Concealer claims to be a full-coverage, creamy concealer that is packed with skincare actives. While the consistency is quite thick, I have fuller coverage concealers in my collection so I would classify this as a medium to buildable coverage.
The formula is not the most hydrating one in the world, but it sit’s comfortably over well moisturized skin and dries matte. Once set, this concealer will last all day and does not need to be set with powder on normal skin.
While the metal tip is meant to be a cooling touch to depuff and refresh the under eye area, the product is too thick to spread evenly and directly from the applicator. I end up having to put the Huda Beauty Overachiever High Coverage Concealer on my finger and then on my under eyes, rendering the applicator useless.
The colours of the Huda Beauty Overachiever High Coverage Concealers seem odd to me. There is not a good range within the golden range, because it goes from Nougat all the way to Sugar Biscuit, skipping a bunch of tones.
Overall, the Huda Beauty Overachiever High Coverage Concealer is a nice option if you can find your perfect match amongst the wide shade gaps in the collection. This would suit those seeking a medium buildable coverage who have oiler skin. It’s a nice formula, but not a holly grail. My favorite full coverage, long lasting yet hydrating concealer is the Jouer Essential High Coverage concealer.
