After watching the legend Lisa Eldridge at work on her instant Bronze and Glow beauty makeup tutorial (linked below) using the KIKO full Coverage Concealer (5.20 GBP), I immediately ran out to buy it. I have shade 03 Medium which is a medium peach colour, good for colour correcting.
The consistency is quite thick and stiff, similar to the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage concealer. I think I have to chalk my impression of this concealer up to not knowing how to use it. There is an art to pin-point applying stiffer concealers that I was never able to learn. On my normal skin, when applied on top of blemishes, I found this made my skin look even dryer and almost separated around the edges of my blemish instead of concealing over it. When applied under my eyes, I got these weird tiny bumps (I think from dryness) because the product was not melting into my skin.
I prefer liquid concealers / correctors that are not as stiff but still offer full coverage. For those who share similar sentiments to me, I wouldn’t recommend this. For those who enjoy stiffer concealers/correctors, or even those who have oily skin, this could work for you because the peach undertones help neutralize under eye bags and is still subtle enough that it could even be used to cover blemishes if you have a similar skin tone to the swatch below. For me, this is not beauty swatched approved.
