MAC Cosmetics Art Library palette ($57 CAD) in Nude Model
I am almost more surprised when I get excited for a MAC collection in the past few years than I am about the product itself! I’ve fallen out of excitement with MAC, although I do have my staples that I love from the brand, I find their launches to be overwhelming in quantity and underwhelming in quality.
On the back of the palette (both the box and component), the shade names are listed with the finish: shimmer, frost or matte.
The mirror in the MAC Cosmetics Nude Model Palette is the best quality mirror I have ever seen. I am no mirror expert but when I first saw this mirror it was what I never knew I needed and I use this every day to put my makeup on.
I am normally not a fan of pre-arranged MAC eyeshadow palettes but this was done in a way that was (1) not obvious meaning i’d never think to put these colours together and (2) versatile in that theres a warm camel row, a cool pinky silver row and a plum row.
While I was worried about the quality of the shadows as MAC tends to be hit or miss, I was pleasantly surprised with this palette. The colours were creamy, pigmented, buildable and blendable.
Overall, I am a huge fan of this palette – it’s quickly become my top 5 favorite so far. I reach for this often because the colours are so beautiful that my pictures are not doing it justice. This is the everyday neutral glam palette that you can get many looks from. It has everything I reach for and need, which is rare to love every shadow in a palette, but the MAC Cosmetics Nude Model Palette somehow gets the job done. LOVE!
