MAC Cosmetics has a line of lipticks called Liptensity ($25 CAD), that are $3 more expensive than their bullet lipsticks and boast an intense level of pigment. That I can vouch for is true- these lipsticks have a an intense pigment that go on in a one swipe fully opaque coverage. The lighter colour (Drifwood) is a bit less opaque than it’s darker counterpart (Doe) but both deliver impact and feel lightweight and comfortable (not sticky) on the lips. Upon initial application I get a very creamy finish that dims down to a satin over time.
I love how the packaging mimics the bullet the colour, which makes this so easy when storing the lipstick to know what shade you’re pulling for.
Driftwood is a light lilac purple with a touch of grey to it. It’s a very light colour and given the pigment that these lipsticks pack, I would say is better suited for fair to light complexions. Doe is a warm tone nude with slight orange- terracotta undertones suitable for medium to tan complexions.
These are nice so I beauty swatch approve them but you can get the same impact from a satin liquid lip or a creme lipstick.
