Make Up For Ever: Artist Shadows 4

A few of the Make Up For Ever eyeshadow palettes have been on sale at Sephora for some time now and it took me a while to come around. I wasn’t completely blown away by any of the colour arrangements but swatched this palette in store and couldnt deny the formula. At first glance, I can see how people may think this palette is too loud/bright/intimidating but after swatching the colours this is a lot more wearable than I thought.

Each shadow is so silky soft and highly pigmented. I like how this palette literally sits on the boarder of my comfort zone and the colour I was most skeptical about using (the bright pink in the middle) swatches and applies a lot darker to be a beautiful mauve transition. My only critism is that the two light off white shades (one is an ivory and the other is a bone shade) are far too similar when applied (M-126 and M-530). I think one could have been swapped for a darker nude shade to wear all over the lid. Here are my swatches, this is beauty swatched approved
