Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Full Coverage Concealer

Makeup Revolution concealers ($9.05 CAD) has taken the makeup world by storm. Actually, so much so that they released jumbo concealers with the same formula!

The formula of these concealers is quite thick but still blendable. It spreads evenly under the eyes and sets relatively quickly. This can be powdered for oily to normal skin (I dont recommend adding powder under the eyes for dry skin) and has a matte finish once it sets.

The applicator is similar to the Tarte Shape Tape in that it’s a jumbo dome foot.

While some of the middle shades seem awfully similar, I bought three to test them out: C5, C7 and C8 (pictured left to right, below). The weirdest thing is that C7 is lighter than C5 and the tones differ so dramatically from C7 to C8:

C5 is a light peach, C7 is a medium yellow and C8 is a deeper peach shade.

Overall, while these are nice concealers they just dont blow me away. I cant say exactly why but i’m just not obsessed even though they do their job, there are concealers I prefer for coverage (NARS Soft Matte Concealers), brightening (KKW Concealers) and finish (Cover FX Concealer)
