For some time now, i’ve been really curious to learn more about Tatcha products. Rooted in philosophies and ingredients from Japan, this brand curates the most coveted beauty ingredients for it’s products. I just started using a line of products i’ve recently purchased and here are my thoughts so far:
The creams have a light gel like texture, the serums are thin but leave the skin feeling noticeably nourished and surprisingly the powder cleanser (second from the left) was my favorite! When mixed with a bit of water, this powder turns into a white paste that not only removes all of my makeup but it also brightens up my complexion after use.
I use the white products on the left during the day and the purple products on the right at night. Happy to follow this up with a more in-depth review with pictures of each product as I continue to discover and explore Tatcha if you’d like to see it.
Tatcha offers travel size decent, although still expensive, product on their website. If you’re curious to check any of these out but dont want to take the plunge, it’s a great way to see if the brand is right for you.
My favorites (in order):
- Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder ($65 CAD)
- Supple Moisture Rich Silk Cream ($120 CAD) – a good dupe for this is the green biotherm aqua cream
My least favorites (in order)
- Dewy Skin Mist ($48 CAD) (although not pictured, not worth the price tag! I didn’t see any difference on my skin without pumping out like 10 sprays while upon one spray my friends found the finish to be too oily looking)
- One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil ($58 CAD) – although this is a cult fav, it’s just not strong enough to remove all of the makeup or dirt from my skin. When I follow up with toner afterwards, my cotton pads are full of makeup
