IT Cosmetics: Bye Bye Redness

Have you ever found that some days your cheeks are so red that after you put on foundation and concealer, it still looks like your wearing blush all the way in towards the corners of your nose? And then when I try to layer blush on top of my red skin I look like a clown. That was until I tried this…

I’ve repurchased the it Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness two times over because I always miss it when it runs out. That’s the truest test of makeup love. The consistency is a medium creamy texture (definitely not stiff but not runny either) and the colour is a medium neutral. It actually works with my NC35 skin so seamlessly that I use this as foundation by placing it only in my red areas on light makeup days. It is undetectable on the skin (make sure you’re not using too much – it only takes a dot to cover up all the redness) and sits under makeup beautifully.

I think the founder of it Cosmetics has rosacea so I trust that she made this product to suit people with even the most extreme redness on their skin all the way down to women who only have the hormonal red areas.

This contains 0.37fl oz of product, which is not a lot but you also don’t need a lot. I take less than a pea sized amount. I place this on my cheeks (that area close to either sides of your nose) and on any blemishes to hide the redness and this product really does that. It holds up for an entire 10hr day, even after my foundation wears off a bit and I never see the red peaking through. Also, because I place this under my foundation, I don’t need to put as much makeup on top of it because my redness is already concealed, so I wear less foundation and less concealer.

It’s weird that this colour correcting product is not the normal green we see to conceal redness but its worked better than any other color corrector I’ve tried.
