Benefit Hoola Quickie Contour Stick

I wasn’t able to get the right lighting for this stick as the actual colour of it is much lighter than how it appears in this photograph. However, the swatches are accurate so I decide to publish this post. If interested in the colour, the colour of the stick on the Sephora site is more accurate.

The formula of the stick is very creamy and easily bendable. Although by swatch the colour seems orange, it works well for depositing a subtle sun kissed look on my NC35 skin. The formula lasts about 5 hours on my skin before it starts to fade.

Out of curiosity, I wanted to compare all of the Benefit Hoola products I had to see if there were any shade discrepancies and are there ever! In the image below of the swatches, besides all being matte, it doesn’t even look like the same shade family! Left to right, you’ll see: Dew the Hoola Soft Matte Liquid Bronzer – a liquid cream formula ($38 CAD), Benefit Hoola Quickie Contour Stick – a stick formula ($38 CAD) and Hoola Matte Bronzer – powder formula ($38 CAD). I would say that the Dew the Hoola is an orange based brown, Quickie Contour Stick is a neutral medium brown and the Hoola powder is a lighter cool brown.
