Dose of Colors eyeshadow palettes ($32 USD each) contain 5 creamy, highly pigmented matte eyeshadow shades
The three palettes I have picked up are: Pretty Cool, Marvelous Mauves and Baked Browns
Pretty Cool is pigmented, but the least out of the three palettes I have. This set contains 5 medium to deep cool shades, from a tan through to browns, a khaki green and a deep brown. I wish this palette started off a bit lighter than it’s first shade, but I still enjoy the assortment. When applied, this gives me the most beautiful natural, effortless eyeshadow look. Almost like that rolled out of bed, grunge but still beautiful.
Marvellous Mauves is the closest to pink eyeshadow that I’ll venture into. These shades have a beautiful mauve tone almost purple, but still neutral. All these shades have that classic Dose of Color intense pigment to it that has a bit of a learning of to it but once you get used to the formula it becomes second nature to apply
Baked Browns is the most pigmented out of all three. I’d go so far as to say this palette is like a true pressed pigment with the highest learning curve. The shades in this palette are warm browns, ranging from a white, light tan and brown coral to a reddish brown and cocoa brown.
Overall, these are great palettes with a wearable colour story and great formulas. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market!
