Jeffree Star Cosmetics Thirsty Palette ($48 USD)
I am absolutely in love with the packaging. The outside packaging is a beautiful orange shade with water droplets and what appears to be popsicle sticks? I’m not too sure. On the inside, it the cartons mimics light wooden finish.
I would consider the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Thirsty Palette to be one of the more neutral palettes out of his range. This palette contains a mix of warm and neutral shades with a nice mix of 10 mattes (on the top and bottom rows) with 5 shimmer shades in the middle.
The mattes in the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Thirsty Palette are soft, have good movement to them so that they blend out well on the eye and are pigmented. The shimmers are amazing: while being glittery, they have good stick to them so that you get the base colour with the sparkle, are crazy pigmented and have a beautiful reflective finish.
Overall, the least pigmented shades were:
- Subtle, which was a disappointment since I live for a light, cool matte brown in the crease
- Parched, which is a fairly common shade so I didn’t understand why and
- Taste Buds, the light coral shade, which again is a common shade and one of the reasons why I picked this palette up
The shimmers live up to their glory and the mix of vibrant colours while remaining a relatively neutral palette still make this a win for me! Overall, this is a win
