Kylie Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Literally ($15 USD), Velvet Liquid Lipstick in Low Key ($16 USD) and Matte Liquid Lipstick in Exposed ($29 USD, lip kit)
Before we get into the individual description of each shade, the scent across all three are like a cotton candy-ish scent. I personally can’t stand the scent of these products and wish they either had a better scent to them or none at all.
Literally lip gloss
Literally comes in a brush tip applicator. The texture of the gloss is quite thick and it applies opaque in one swatch with good lasting power. The gloss is quite sticky.
Literally is a medium warm brown tone nude
Low Key Velvet Liquid Lipstick
Low Key comes with a doe foot applicator. The tube has a tight stopper on the inside, so it funnels all the excess product on the wand. Despite the ‘velvet’ claims to this lipstick, it dries quite matte on my lips and unless applied over a balm, it’s quite difficult to spread and work with.
Low key is a medium bright coral shade.
Exposed Matte Liquid Lipstick
Exposed has a doe foot applicator however there is no stopper in this component so a lot of product comes out with each application. The consistency of exposed is quite liquidity, which makes it easy to work with on the lips for an even application. Once dried, this becomes a comfortable matte.
Exposed is a yellow tone mid-brown shade
Overall, the Kylie Cosmetics lip products are nice but not revolutionary. The shade range is the key to allure of her collection so if you find a shade you like in a format that’s comfortable you wont be disappointed. However I always recommend looking within your collection first as you probably have similar colours or consistencies to hers.
