Morphie does it again with their contour palette in 9C. Although this is not as much talked about as their brushes and eyeshadow palettes are, the contour pallet is actually one of my most loved products in my entire makeup collection.
The top row is full of matte shades. The middle yellow shade is very pigmented and actually brightens up my skin tone upon application. I find as with most yellow powders, the brightening effect doesn’t really come across and certainly doesn’t last. All of these powders last an entire 8 to 9 hours on my skin.
The middle row contains a mix of matte shades (it’s the first peach colour, which broke in transit, and the last medium brown colour). The middle highlight shade is this beautiful soft gold colour that reflects light so gorgeously. It comes across as a sheen and has no glittery chunks in it.
The last row is full of contouring and bronzing powders. The first and last shade are darker bronze colours for me and the middle shade has a gray-ish undertone to it making at the perfect contour colour on me. No other contour Powder that I own gives me as seamless of a sunken in cheekbone look as this one.
All of the shades are buttery soft, blend out wonderfully and are uber pigmented. Once blended they have a little bit of stick to them so they last on the skin all day. I love this pallet and will definitely purchase another one once I run out. If I wasn’t such a make a horder this is actually the only contouring and highlighting powders I would need to set my under eyes, contour my cheekbones and bronze my face.
